- Email: info@tigereyea.co.uk
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our website or contact us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, billing and delivery address, email address and telephone number.
- Order and transaction details, including the products purchased, payment status, delivery, returns, refunds and communications about your order.
- Account and enquiry details, including login information where an account is created and the content of customer-service messages.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser information, website activity and cookie identifiers.
- Marketing preferences, including whether you have asked to receive or stop receiving promotional communications.
Payments are processed by secure payment providers. We do not store your full payment-card number or security code on our website.
3. Why we use your information and our lawful bases
- Contract: to process payment, fulfil and deliver orders, manage returns or refunds, provide customer service and take steps you request before a purchase.
- Legal obligation: to maintain tax and accounting records, respond to lawful requests, meet product-safety duties and comply with consumer and fraud-prevention requirements.
- Legitimate interests: to secure our website, prevent misuse and fraud, improve our services, manage our business and establish or defend legal claims. We consider the impact on your rights before relying on this basis.
- Consent: for optional marketing and non-essential cookies or similar technologies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who we share information with
We share only what is reasonably necessary with trusted providers that help us operate, including:
- payment and fraud-prevention providers;
- delivery companies and fulfilment partners;
- website, hosting, ecommerce, email and customer-support providers;
- analytics and advertising providers where you have consented to the relevant cookies;
- professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or tax authorities where required.
We do not sell your personal information. Service providers may use it only for the agreed services and must protect it appropriately.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary cookies support functions such as security, checkout and your shopping basket. We ask for consent before using non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. You can accept, reject or change your choices through the cookie controls displayed on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where the destination is not covered by UK adequacy regulations, we require an approved safeguard where necessary, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate security measures.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected. Order, payment, returns and related accounting records are normally retained for up to six years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, or longer where a legal dispute or regulatory requirement makes this necessary. Customer-service enquiries are retained only as long as reasonably required. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need them, although we may keep a minimal suppression record to respect your choice.
8. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to erase information or restrict its use;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to direct marketing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
Some rights are subject to legal conditions or exemptions. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month.
9. Security
We use organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, trusted payment processing and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we review our safeguards and limit access to people who need the information.
10. Complaints and contact
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email info@tigereyea.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and revision date will always appear on this page.
